Well, at the end of the day we will deal with other companies, and not personals... which will probably be the difference... We'll see. At present I have 30 restaurants using the system... and because of the value behind I am sure somebody will try to copy it.

So what? Will they also offer customer support and training? You code is sufficiently complex enough that i doubt it can be used without some major level of customization. If you want protection -- seek legal advice, license your code. For every lock there exists a key, and no matter how hard you make the lock to unpick, somebody will crack it. What they can't do is offer the same support for your clients that you probably already have.
