As long as the exact sample program I posted reproduces the problem for you there is no need to make the data available. Does my above program segfault for you?
If the program does segfault for you, you have the option of changing the Perl version (maybe 5.8.2 or 5.8.3 as earlier variant or 5.8.8 as the most current stable version) as an intermediate bugfix, just make sure you compile and install the alternative Perl into a separate directory.
It is important though that the small program I posted actually is the cause for the segfault. If my program does not segfault for you with the exact data I posted, please consider if you are using any extensions to Perl like a database driver, which could cause the segfault.
