From the MySQL docs..

INT[(M)] [UNSIGNED] [ZEROFILL]

A normal-size integer. The signed range is -2147483648 to 2147483647. 
+The unsigned range is 0 to 4294967295.

You are trying to insert a value which is outside the allowable range for an INT type, and so you get the maximum value of 2147483647.

You probably want to use a varchar type instead.
