Nothing that can be done in one of them takes significantly more or less effort in either of the other two.

Don't forget that Perl has better documentation and more libraries than especially Ruby.

Don't forget that Perl has better documentation and more libraries than especially Ruby. Although things have improved quite a lot in the Ruby world over the last couple of years. I think Ruby's crossed a threshold of users now and we'll continue to see the docs/libraries expand rapidly.	[reply]
