GrandFather has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Some time ago I posted two related nodes in Cool Uses For Perl - QuickTime format movie file dumper and Updated QuickTime format movie file dumper. It seems possible that that code is appropriate for a CPAN module.

In the opinion of the monks:

  1. is that code a good candidate for a CPAN module?
  2. How should it be changed before submission to CPAN?
  3. What would be a good module name for it?
  4. What else do I need to know before submission? (I already have a PAUSE id)

Regarding #3, maybe Video::Dumper::Quicktime would be an appropriate name?

Yes, that looks like a good name and was about what I was pondering. Any nay sayers?
