Your answer makes no sense. Windows (starting from 2000) uses UTF-16, surely. And this encoding is of course supported by Encode.pm.

    I have just tried it.. Does not work. Sorry I guess I just somehow thought something and wrote something else (happens when somebody is talking to me while I am writing) Sorry !
