A quick look at Tk::Text on CPAN will get you a number of useful widgets, incuding the basic Tk::Text and others with colour higlghting and XML display formatting as well some other nice tricky features.

    Hello,

    Yes I really googled and supersearched for 'tk multiline entry' and 'tk text input' and don't remember what else.

    I know Tk::Text but didn't find how to store the text in a variable.
