In which way does it "not work" for you? I've run mine with Not_a_Number's corrections — see my updated post — and it works fine for me using ActivePerl 5.6.1 on Win2k.	[reply]

ok. i copy and pasted your updated code. now, i get no errors. however, there is no output whatsoever. nothing happens now... should there be some output?	[reply]
