Mainframe (IMS, COBOL, MVS Assembler, DB2, Visual BASIC, Visual Works Smalltalk, Oracle, HP-UX, etc, etc). Then worked 2 years at an energy company as Oracle DBA on HP-UX. Then I worked for 10 years at a large bank as an Oracle DBA on Sun Solaris. Lots of PL/SQL programming, ksh s‎crip‎ting, and some Perl. Now I am retired after 34 years in big IT shops. At home, I run GNU/Linux (several distros on a multi-boot system).
