in reply to PerlMonks mirror with RSS and searching

Don't forget that PerlMonks does have a Newest Nodes RSS Feed. :-)

And a very handy RSS Feed, nevertheless. This is something I use frequently to find the new nodes without having to load up perlmonks in the heat of the day (it can be a little slow). Subsequently, there is a Perl module published (Plagger::Plugin::CustomFeed::PerlMonks) that utilizes this feed. (NOTE: that I haven't looked at the source nor full functionality of this module - just noticed it one time on CPAN)

    ---------
    perl -le '$.=[qw(104 97 124 124 116 97)];*p=sub{[@{$_[0]},(45)x 2]};*d=sub{[(45)x 2,@{$_[0]}]};print map{chr}@{p(d($.))}'
