You're wrong. :) Sounds like an electron microscope image to me, but then, I'm an engineer and not a scientist.

Actually, it is a scanner. Its a "Typhoon 9410" that can go to 10 microns per pixel in certain modes. The EM that we have here does much, much better than that. I suppose if I could coat a fly with fluorescent goo I could image it on this in the way that one could with an EM of this resolution :)	[reply]
