Direct link...I even selected a mirror for you, just in case that was confusing.
Do any of you have a direct link to a complicated game written in Perl?
If you don't you don't have to scream that Perl is such a good language.
Ummm scream? I asked what was wrong with it as it seemed to meet your requirments. I'm not familary with Midtown Madness so I can't compare complexity.
BTW No one here has said Perl would be there choice in making such a game. In fact you didn't bother asking us if it was a good idea to do in perl, you asked if it had been done, and you received examples.
Personaly if i'm programming a game I go with C++ but even that choice is because my tool of choice for games (Torque) is bested used from C++. If you need raw speed and high end graphics you probably don't want perl.
Have you considered the possibility that your RentACoders idea to have a C program generate Perl programs is actualy flawed? Maybe you need Perl all the way, maybe C all the way, maybe something else entirly. Coming here and acting like we are your servants isn't going to get you much help though, or maybe this has been helpful? We can hope because oddly even though you've been quite rude you've still received a sizable amount of info and data if you can only sit down and learn from it.
