What are the diffs between the 1st and 2nd editions? Why choose the 1st edition over the 2nd?

Advanced Perl Programming, 2nd edition may help - all the answers are in Super Search :-D. DWIM is Perl's answer to Gödel	[reply]

The first edition is the book I read. It introduces generally interesting concepts like database mapping, code generation, the flywieght object pattern, etc. all in code examples. The second edition is a completely different book, which I haven't read.	[reply]
