I will encourage you to start using the Super Search functionality we have at the Monastery. I do that for two reasons:

1. Usually you will find the answer to your question
2. Even if you do not find the answer to your question, finding similar posts will help you write your question in such a way that you get the best possible answers

Having said that, if you do a Super Search using the terms: efficient data structure, you will find some nodes that will give you a hint on the answer to your question. Some of these nodes are:
