Alien has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi monks ,
Please tell me how can I make a script to a .EXE file . I could do that using perlcc , but if i try to do the same thing on a program that uses WWW::Mechanize , it refuses to compile . Can you tell me how to do it?
Thanks !

Please do a Super Search. This is a FAQ. Basically, perlcc is broken, unsupported and obsolete (won't be in Perl 5.10). PAR seems to be the tool to use.
      ikegami,
      ...(won't be in Perl 5.10).

I believe your intent is to say perlcc won't be present in Perl 5.10. Some may read the statement with ambiguity and think you meant it won't be broken, unsupported and obsolete in 5.10.
