Whenever I type ppm from Command Prompt, I am getting ppm GUI. I would like to work in ppm command line prompt instead of ppm GUI. how can I force the ppm to return ppm prompt for me ?

    Hi, the ppm command line is called ppm-shell now.

    C:\>ppm-shell ppm 4.00 Copyright (C) 2006 ActiveState Software Inc. All rights reserved. ppm>

    Have fun.

      But, it is not the "same" shell :p Good ole ppm has gone for good. You must downgrade ActivePerl if you want the old ppm...
