in thread Is there a central perl app directory or repository?

Ah... had forgotten about freshmeat. Thank you for the reminder. Freshmeat has tons of software listed, but its browsing fliter seems limited. In particular, I don't see any way I can view all Perl software, with Development Status 5 or 6, GPL or LGPL -- filters seem to just AND (though, it is very nice how the filter combo box numbers update after each time you apply a filter).

Still though, great site.

      You are limited :) http://freshmeat.net/register/

After you register, although you're allowed to browse and then filter your browsing, the filters can only be AND'ed. That is, for example, you can't ask it to show you software at dev status 4, 5, or 6 (which seems reasonable); only 4, 5, and 6 (which doesn't make much sense).

Anyhow, it's still quite a comprehensive directory, and seems to be very useful.
