in reply to Perl for all ages?

I'm 31. Most Perl devs I know are close to my age or younger. Audrey, for example, is like 26.
My criteria for good software:
  1. Does it work?
  2. Can someone else come in, make a change, and be reasonably certain no bugs were introduced?
