Developer for 7+ years, mostly C and C++. Started by reading the Llama book 4 years ago, but never had the chance to use it much. That wasn't by choice though. Now, I'm back in college to finish my CS degree, and I've had more opportunity to use Perl for projects and assignments. I am still a Perl novice by any definition, but I really like the speed of development, and what's not to like about a language that has native hash tables and regular expressions??!!
