    Or burn your own Ubuntu (or knoppix, or insert your favourite OS here . . . ) distro onto a livecd and boot your whole demo environment off that on their equipment.

      And when the presentation equipment is a Mac? Having something normal is nice to deal with strangeness like that.

        The current Ubuntu release supports PC (Intel x86), 64-bit PC (AMD64), Sun UltraSPARC and T1 (Sun Fire T1000 and T2000), PowerPC (Apple iBook, Powerbook, G4 and G5) and OpenPower (Power5) architectures.

        So you burn two CDs . . . :)

        But yes, point taken. Nothing says you can't burn your static screenshot HTML version onto your livecd as well. Belt and suspenders.
