perlmaster has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Is there a program on cpan that i can put perl in my C programs. Or how can i do it?

    Hi,

    There is a book on this topic: "Extending and Embedding Perl" by Tim Jenness and Simon Cozens (Manning). What you want to do falls most likely in the latter category (i.e., "embedding").

    Since this hasn't already (?) been mentioned...

    ... if you just need RegExen, try PCRE.
