    I'm not sure what your question is, but looping over @friendID with the implicit assignment of each element to $_ and referring to indexed elements with $friendID[$i] aren't obviously compatible, at least in the code shown here.

    I can't see any reason for having to scrape a site to bulk send messages to people, other than to spam them.
