PLEASE and Thanks

Do you mean you don't understand my previous post here? Are you still having problems? I don't understand all that. Please calm down a bit.

I shall try to make myself a bit clearer: on systems where getpwuid isn't implemented (which apparently includes Windows) $ENV{HOME} should point to the user's home directory. That is, the directory that will contain your personal ".ssh" configuration directory - even if you don't use it.

Try doing something like $ENV{HOME} = "C:/Users/MyName/"; or whatever, before doing anything with Net::SSH::Perl.

Are they current?

You can normally find the latest version of modules on http://search.cpan.org. Looks like your Net::SSH::Perl is up-to-date. You can check the other modules yourself.

I read this node (node_id=610326) and I did understand it! and I was even more puzzled.
Did you know you can link to nodes like this? [id://610326] turns into: Problem connecting remotehost by Net::SSH.

Anyway the replies to that node seem pretty clear to me.
