use Planetoid qw( :QUAKES ); $earth = Planetoid->new("Milky Way", "Sol", 3); $earth->quakes(Q_OFF);
It's that simple. Really.

    Are you able to create another earth while you have an exsiting one? I mean I would think that at very least the old earth would have to be destroyed to free up the resources for the new one. You have to be careful when dealing with persistant objects..

      Hmm, interesting how there is no DESTROY method in that module, just one called Vogon.

      The moral being: the mice will take care of it.

        Its not on cpan; Where is it?

    Can't locate Planetoid.pm in @INC (@INC contains: C:/perl/lib .) at st +op_quakes.pl line 1. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at stop_quakes.pl line 1.
    Where can I get the Planetoid module? It dosen't seem to be on CPAN...
