in reply to MIME::Lite and attachments

it means that one of the directories (or the file) in "/usr/home/account/files/test.gif" is not readable. In other words you don't have permission to read the path in question.

The exception is cause by verify_data in MIME::Lite.

Well, it didn't like the -e' or the -r, but

        perl -e print "/usr/home/account/files/test.gif"

        returned nothing.

Update: Per shmem's fine correction, a "1" is returned. I assume that is "true" and that my path is fine.
