in thread To thank or not to thank?

But updates often get unnoticed.

Hmm, that makes me wonder - is the update timestamp stored anywhere? If so, we could have "Recently updated Nodes/Threads" page, maybe? For homenodes, there is such a page...

--shmem

_($_=" "x(1<<5)."?\n".q·/)Oo.  G°\        /
                              /\_¯/(q    /
----------------------------  \__(m.====·.(_("always off the crowd"))."·
");sub _{s./.($e="'Itrs `mnsgdq Gdbj O`qkdq")=~y/"-y/#-z/;$e.e && print}

    Hmmm... from past discussions I seem to have understood that "this kinda things" is supposed to be hard to implement: a list of "Recently updated Nodes/Threads" would be an added goody, but would still require one to check it, whereas the mechanism would be maximally useful IMHO with custom notifications. In fact as a long term Usenet aficionado in the past I've expressed the desire for facilities like the ones provided by newsreaders: e.g. "follow", or "ignore" threads or part of threads... and this is the part that I've been told would be hard to implement.
