You think that block evals are a performance penalty? I've never heard that. Have you tested that theory at all?

No, hence the words, "I think" and "have yet to benchmark" ;-) I guess my hunch was wrong on that count. I think it's just that I'm not 100% sure exactly how eval is dealt with that is troubling my psyche. Time for more background reading...	[reply]
