Thanks Dave. Yes, I have AS's doc on my tool bar. I was just reading about the camel books vs "others" & saw where someone implied that this file was good to have. Needing all the help I can get, I thought I'd grab it while I was here at work. Thanks again. -Bill.

I'm a bit confused. If you've got ActiveState Perl installed at home and at work, then you've got all the docs you need in HTML format already. That said, their internal links don't always work for me, but YMMV. Besides that, when you add modules using PPM, you get the HTML docs added as well.

I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code

Dave, Sorry for the confusion. I have a Thinkpad that I can use both places. Work has several T? lines, but home is Turtle-Net. So I tend to grab things here, & then use them off line at home. I can use the web (sans the down loading) at home, but then I lose the ability to move from Recliner, to kitchen island, to Deck, etc. during the course of the evening. Perhaps I'll soon be at a level so as to not need as much immediate feedback during my coding, but for now, the docs (and this monestary) have been a real W|L-ife-saver. BTW, I checked out thetutorials here & they look to be a great source of "just what I need". Thanks, again. -Bill.
