Did you try just to copy-and-paste the module at the end of your script and get rid of the use 5.008006; commands in Net::Scan::Ftp::Anonymous and Net::Scan::Fork? At first glance there is no reason why these modules should not run under 5.0805

A program should be light and agile, its subroutines connected like a string of pearls. The spirit and intent of the program should be retained throughout. There should be neither too little or too much, neither needless loops nor useless variables, neither lack of structure nor overwhelming rigidity." - The Tao of Programming, 4.1 - Geoffrey James
