From that I can tell you looked at the Front Page, but can't tell if you visited the forums. And yes, the front-page and News sections of Ars do a lot of coverage of "technology issues" like DRM, government, lawsuits, AMD vs Intel, etc. It's all good, and the discussion on the forums is many many levels above that found on something like Slashdot.
