There's actually only two base modules

Text::CSV_XS if you have a C compiler or Text::CSV_PP if you do not. Most other modules depend on Text::CSV_XS

There's also AnyData::Format::CSV. Personally, I'm a big fan of the AnyData family. :-) HTH, planetscape	[reply]

AnyData::Format::CSV uses regular expressions to parse the data, which is much slower than the parser Text::CSV_XS uses in C (XS). When using CSV data with databases, I'd advice DBD::CSV, which also uses Text::CSV_XS to parse Enjoy, Have FUN! H.Merijn	[reply]

There's also Text::xSV, which parsed all "valid" CSV files I've ever thrown at it, but it seems a bit less extensible than Text::CSV_XS. "What should it profit a man, if he should win a flame war, yet lose his cool?"	[reply]
