CPAN: package.lst

toolsmith has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

i'm trying to add CPAN as a repository in ActiveState's PPM. It seems to want a package.lst, which I can't find. What URL should I be entering in the PPM repository editor? Thanks - Peter (peter.buck@eds.com)

CPAN doesn't serve PPMs as far as I know. "What should it profit a man, if he should win a flame war, yet lose his cool?"	[reply]
