I don't know very much about parsing, but I guess it makes it rather hard to deal with precedence, while still maintaining predictive parsing.

Perhaps somebody working on STD.pm could help out?

If it's doable (without too much trouble) it would certainly be a rather neat feature.

Anyway, if you want something crazy really badly you can still modify the grammar.
