I modified my prior post to correct the constant (which I won't repeat for fear of typing it wrong again). Also, for those who have trust issues with wikiped, here is another site (assuming you don't have trust issues with the US navy). http://tycho.usno.navy.mil/mjd.html Update: Of course I now see this link is an external link on the wikiped page itself.
