getting the average http request and response size in http pcap

phemal has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi All, I want to find the average (bytes) of http request and response sizes from a particualr Pcap file or by capturing live traffic for a particular website say "www.perlmonks.org". Can anyone help me, what Networking modules in perl could help me.

try a log-analizing tool, such as webalizer or awstats. -------------------------------- masses are the opiate for religion.	[reply]
