    With any luck (your heckling notwithstanding) all three languages will one day run on Parrot (∴ → CLR & JVM) whereupon those communities can choose to share libraries and projects.

    You and some others may believe that neither project will ever arrive, so there's no sense you worrying about it. Folks contributing to Python is still likely to benefit the rest of us in the long run.
