telnet question

A good place to start is the threading tutorial I guess, as well as the Net::Telnet documentation. An alternative might be POE, that's a matter of taste. It comes with POE::Component::Client::Telnet.	[reply]

Since Net::Telnet isa IO::Socket::INET, you can probably also use IO::Select to multiplex many simultaneous connections, without fork() or threads. I haven't investigated this though. -David	[reply]

So your saying Net::Telnet anf IO::Select would be the the one i use and fork?if i got this right.	[reply]

I quite like threads myself, but if the processes don't need to communicate with each other, fork() http://perldoc.perl.org/functions/fork.html http://perldoc.perl.org/perlipc.html would be simpler. Cheers Chris	[reply]
