I've added a "Community Ads" nodelet that loads non-commercial ads via javascript from the perl community adserver. Right now it's available to Cabal only. It could use some css to make it prettier (at a minimum, removing the indentation), if anyone wants to work on that. Also adding a setting to control the number of ads shown might be nice. Give it a try and provide feedback, please.
