Hello, Hi. Please help me out to view entire details available at REP file. Which details? What's a REP file? While opening Rep at notepad lot of junk characters are coming along with ASCII characters. Notepad is only useful for text files. The REP file probably isn't a text file, or it is a text file with a different encoding than notepad expects. I request you please suggest me away to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance Vamsi. REP file is a report file with .rep extension. On GUI interface reporting tools generates reports with .rep extensions. This file have all details about sql and other business rules in encrypted format. It is as similar as windows exe file. It will be very helpful for us to maintain documentation for next project. This is not problem with note pad or with text. Please suggest me how to deal with this issue. Thanks in advance	[reply]

If the report files you get from whatever tool you've got (and "on gui reporting tools" does not describe which tool that is) aren't any good, get another tool. Or ask your vendor how to access those files. You did see the word perl in the name of this site, right? "What should it profit a man, if he should win a flame war, yet lose his cool?"	[reply]
