All those old CGI boom scripts are teh reason why Perl is number 5 on this list? Or why a Catalyst AMI is number 2 on this list? Or why Perl is the first “scripting” language in the Top Skills on this page?

Damn I wish I’d been working during the DotCom Boom cause then I could have spent my entire career working in Perl … oh wait … I have. Good thing I don’t want to work on anything fancy like a Metaobject Protocol or Event Driven Programming or in a distributed environment.

    What can I say? I am glad that you enjoyed what you have done. Although I wish that you could open your window once or twice, and take a look outside, but hey is this not a free country?
