(This is a bug on the site, not a request for Perl info. Being new here, I don't know if there's a place to post such.)

When the site search didn't turn up what I wanted, I followed the suggestion and link for a Google search. But the Google search link itself is misconstructed, and gave me the message:

Your search - site:www.perlmonks.org "hash of arrays" - did not match any documents.

-- sending HTML entity strings to Google instead of the entities (ASCII quotation marks) themselves.

BTW, I did find what I wanted.

    Seems to work for me. Note that your problem seems to be with double quotes in your search terms. Perlmonks search does not interpret "this string" as a search for those two adjoining words, so you probably shouldn't be using that construct in perlmonks search.

    Searching for hash of arrays without quotes turns up some results at least.
