I agree. When I ran the de-install it obviously did not remove everything it should have. The Parrot test suite should be able to run without user interaction though (acknowledging the pop-up). We could tell each user as the problem comes up that their perl installation is broken and how to fix it or we can try to work around it.

Until I researched it, I didn't know how much a work around was. Given xdg's comment, I will provide a patch in the next day or two and it can be applied or not.
