The "Decloak" label on what's normally the "Talk" button is just to let you know that you will be recorded as present if you Talk. Pressing the button without entering a public message does nothing.

In your handcrafted url, you are not including the "expires" parameter; that may explain some of the inconsistency you are seeing. Try just going to the Login node with a ticker=yes parameter and using the form to set your cookie appropriately: ?node=Login;ticker=yes

    So what you are saying is that the "Decloak" button does not do what I thought it did.

    Which was to Log the User in Decloaked when depressed ie changing the status from Cloaked to Decloaked.

    It serves no other purpose than to submit the contents of the CB to the CB stream.
