I am a 72 year old computer Internet pioneer, having been on the Net since December, 1969, one month after it started as ARPANET. I have spent most of my adult life as a computer consultant, fixing "broken" software projects and have written almost 2,000,000 lines of debugged code in almost every language you...or anyone else...has ever heard of. PERL is not my best language, but I know enough about it to have written a couple hundred working applications, mostly on the Web. I Webmaster a collection of sites at dreamagic.com, inluding a bunch that have been on the Web since 1995 that are fairly popular (total traffic is 200,000+ page hits a month). My academic training is in mathematics, computer science, psychology and linguistics. My career résumé says I am an AI expert and I actually did publish one seminal pattern recognition algorithm many years ago. My current passion is to write a Web application to perform real-time language translation for email and chat, having successfully written and installed an app that does translation of our Web pages from English into 27 other languages. Since I probably have limited time left in my career, I would dearly love to have partner(s), preferably of the younger and longer lasting variety :-) Oh, yes, FYI, I have also been a spy (I was very young) for the U.S. Army Security Agency (military cousin of NSA), a political activist (radical), have been incarcerated in a maximum security prison (over 30 years ago), and have 15 children, 35 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren from 4 mates, the last and best, Gypsy, for 32 years.
