Yes I did ask them (I was kind of looking for a potential job). In general what they used was Rails, Python (I think Django), PHP, Haskel and Erlang. I did not ask directly about the reasons - but sometimes they did talk about it spontaneously and the reasons were different for each one just like the exact technology they used.	[reply]
