Yeah, I should have known better growing up in a computer centered culture. It's very embarassing to say the least, not to mention how ungrateful I must seem, and how it felt to be in the position of ikegami who I lashed out at when all he did was offer his assistance. I hope that it can all be water under the bridge, though I know I don't deserve to be very readily forgiven.
