SIP Message Parser

avidcoder has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I am trying to develop a script or Module to parse or interpret the SIP Messages. Does anybody know of any modules already developed to parse it? SIP is a sinalling protocol used in VOIP calls. Thanks AvidCoder

Did you check CPAN ? It provides Net::SIP and many sub-modules dealing with the SIP protocol. In particular, Net::SIP::Simple is easy to use. "How many times do I have to tell you again and again .. not to be repetitive?"	[reply]

A search of CPAN turns up Net::SIP which may (or may not) be of some help. Perl is environmentally friendly - it saves trees	[reply]

Parsing SIP messages was asked about a month ago. Soliciting Multiline SIP Searching Suggestions may be of some help. Unless I state otherwise, my code all runs with strict and warnings	[reply]
