in reply to Test failures matter

Your test is single-threaded. Is curl?

My criteria for good software:
  1. Does it work?
  2. Can someone else come in, make a change, and be reasonably certain no bugs were introduced?

As far as I know, yes.
      Multi-threading:
libcurl is completely thread safe, except for two issues: signals and SSL/TLS handlers.
Maybe that's why the ssl tests come in wrong order?

Well, I'm going to set the CURLOPT_NOSIGNAL option to true just to make sure this isn't the problem. As far as I know this section about ssl is only saying that multithreading support when using ssl/tls handlers is only as good as the underlying implementation and that their caveeats apply.
