Shadowfax has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

i know these exist... i know people have them...
i have no idea how to get them... they are:
quick reference posters
i am trying to find posters to hang above my
workspace which list perl quick reference syntax
and stuff. there is no way to usefully search for
this on the internet as perl and posters returns some
links to a "post" in the context of what i am doing now,
while perl and wall tends to return a reference to
the great "larry wall". so if any of you people know
where i can find perl posters as in "the things you
hang on the ceiling supporters" please let me know.

I stick to a Perl Pocket Reference, since you can't carry a wall around with you :)

Maybe refbase.ps from Johan Vromans can help you a little. It's a postscript file of a really good quickreference for version 5.004 which is 32 pages short and is really unvalueable as a reference. For it's postscript it should be no great problem with the use of some tools to make one big page out of them.

    What I use is this:
perldoc perl perldoc perlop perldoc perlfunc perldoc -f function_name_here
Combined with the fact that you can "/pattern" then "n" your way to any specific item, finding things in POD is fast enough for me. :-)
