Hi,
I'm not sure where this query is best posted, so I thought I'd start here first.
I use the "perl -MCPAN -e shell" method of installing modules quite a lot and am a big fan of doing it that way because it works out and installs any necessary dependencies.
I have had trouble with the CPAN shell accessing ftp.perl.org
I have only had trouble accessing it from our server in France, it's fine accessing it from the UK. I have also been able to access other FTP sites from the server in France.
I have been narrowing down the problem to be something to with with DNS.
When I do an nslookup from my PC in the UK, I get:
